We are looking for an experienced Senior Embedded Developer for one of our clients in Arninge/Stockholm.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a Linux software development team.
- Plan and drive software deliveries and technical activities.
- Facilitate backlog refinement and sprint planning activities.
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and communicate status to stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with Program Management.
- Coordinate work with other disciplines, like Middleware Software, User Interface Software, Electronics, Verification & Validation
- Contribute as a senior software developer while leading the team.
Competence/Experience – Mandatory
- Experience from minimum 10 years of experience in Embedded Linux development
- Strong programming skills in C
- Experience with Linux kernel development
- Device driver development experience
- Deep understanding of Linux-based embedded systems
- Experience with Git-based development workflows
- Experience with Yocto-based build environments
- Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and coordinate complex software deliveries
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience using AI-assisted software development tools in daily engineering work
- English (verbal and writing)
Competence/Experience – Optional
- Knowledge with ARM-based embedded platforms
- BSP (Board Support Package) development experience
- Experience from camera, sensor and imaging
- Experience with GitHub Copilot, AI-assisted code generation, automated testing, or agentic development workflows
- Experience with Zephyr RTOS
- Swedish (verbal and writing)
