About the Company

At Avaron, you get the security of permanent employment combined with the variety of working at different customers. We place specialists across everything from tech, IT and industry to project management and business support – and whatever the assignment, you have a consultant manager who is there for you and your development.

About the Role

You will join a large financial transformation initiative in a complex financial services environment where accounting capabilities are being moved from several legacy solutions to a new cloud-based platform. The work spans business processes, accounting logic, reporting needs, integrations, and collaboration across development, architecture, infrastructure, security, and business teams.

This is a role for you if you enjoy turning complex accounting and reconciliation needs into clear process descriptions and implementable system requirements. You will work close to both business and technology, help shape how the future solution is used, and contribute in an environment where your accounting expertise will have a clear impact.

Job Description
  • You will analyse functional and non-functional requirements and turn them into accounting, reconciliation, reporting, and configuration specifications.
  • You will map financial processes from multiple front-end and source systems and describe resulting accounting patterns in a clear and structured way.
  • You will collaborate with business stakeholders, system architects, and development teams to clarify requirements and support solution design.
  • You will support configuration, operation, and maintenance of an accounting solution based on Oracle Financials Cloud and related financial systems.
  • You will create and maintain design documentation and test scripts that support implementation and quality assurance.
  • You will help plan, prepare, and execute tests of financial processes and accounting solutions.
  • You will support deployment, troubleshooting, incident analysis, and remediation in both non-production and production environments.
  • You will contribute to shared accounting standards, reconciliation principles, and effective ways of working across teams.
  • You will participate actively in agile ceremonies, cross-team planning, and knowledge sharing.
  • You will train and coach end-users so they can work confidently and efficiently with the configured solution.
Requirements
  • You have strong hands-on and broad accounting experience in a complex enterprise environment.
  • You have strong ability to analyse accounting, reconciliation, and reporting requirements and translate them into process descriptions, accounting patterns, and system requirements.
  • You are confident in describing accounting scenarios, for example by using T-accounts.
  • You have experience planning, preparing, and executing tests of financial processes and accounting solutions in a large multinational enterprise.
  • You have experience from financial services, accounting, regulatory reporting, or other highly regulated business domains.
  • You have experience working in agile development teams and collaborating across application, integration, test, and business functions.
  • You have strong ability to train and coach end-users in using accounting solutions.
  • You have strong written and spoken English communication skills.
  • You have a Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Nice to have
  • Experience integrating large-scale and custom business applications using Oracle Financials Cloud or a similar comprehensive accounting system.
  • Experience in change management, organizational transformation, and user training.
What We Offer
  • Permanent employment at Avaron AB
  • Occupational pension
  • Wellness allowance of SEK 5,000 per year
