International Logistics Specialist

At Midsummer, we develop and manufacture innovative thin-film solar technology that supports the transition to sustainable energy. As we continue to grow internationally, we're looking for an International Logistics Specialist to join our team in Järfälla, Stockholm.

In this varied role, you'll support logistics activities across multiple international markets and contribute to ensuring efficient and compliant logistics flows as Midsummer continues its global expansion.

• Support and coordinate international shipments, import/export activities and transport operations

• Manage export, import, shipping and customs documentation

• Act as a key point of contact for colleagues regarding logistics, customs and transportation matters

• Troubleshoot logistics-related issues, delays and deviations

• Support compliance with customs, trade and transportation requirements

• Contribute to the development and improvement of logistics processes and ways of working

• Collaborate with freight forwarders, carriers and logistics partners worldwide

• Support colleagues with questions related to imports, exports, customs procedures and international transportation

• 2–5 years of experience within international logistics, import/export, transportation or shipping

• Experience working with customs processes and import/export documentation

• Familiarity with international freight flows and logistics providers

• Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken

• Curious and eager to learn

• Structured and solution-oriented

• Comfortable collaborating with people across different countries, cultures and functions

• Patient and persistent – because in international logistics, customs processes, documentation and shipments don't always move as quickly as planned

• A team player who enjoys supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment

• Experience with logistics flows involving Colombia is highly meritorious, while experience from other international markets such as China and the USA is also appreciated

• Knowledge of Incoterms and international trade regulations

• Experience from manufacturing, industrial production or other international business environments
