At CDON Group, thousands of merchants across Europe and China sell on CDON and Fyndiq. Keeping that merchant base running well requires strong operational follow-up: knowing what to look for, spotting issues and opportunities early, and making sure the right people can act on them.
About us
Join us at CDON Group, a Swedish listed company with a long history and extensive experience in the e-commerce market. Our mission is to unleash the power of the marketplace to give the best shopping experience in the Nordics.
We are in a growing phase of massively increasing supply by expanding our merchant base, and we're on the lookout for a Merchant Operations & Support Manager to join us on this journey for our two Nordic marketplaces: CDON and Fyndiq.
About the role
As Merchant Operations & Support Manager, you'll take ownership of key parts of our merchant operations. You'll monitor merchant and marketplace data, identify issues and opportunities, and drive the right follow-up together with relevant colleagues. You'll also own and improve recurring processes, reporting and checks, and take initiative on projects that make our merchant operations more efficient, scalable and reliable.
This is a great fit if you're early in your career, comfortable with data and want to learn a marketplace from the inside. You'll have your own clear areas of ownership from day one and a manager who is close to the work.
How this role fits alongside your colleagues
- Our Merchant Success Managers own the commercial merchant relationships and merchant performance management. You run the operational, support and compliance work underneath it — the monitoring, the casework and the recurring checks — rather than carrying a portfolio or performance targets.
- Our Product Compliance Manager owns regulatory and product compliance policy. You run the monitoring and recurring checks that support it — you're not expected to interpret regulation.
As an AI-first company, we expect you to build AI and automation into how you work. If your instinct when you meet a repetitive task is to automate it, you'll fit here.
Responsibilities include
- Keep an operational eye on merchant delivery and service quality across CDON and Fyndiq — fulfilment, on-time delivery, issue and escalation rates — and flag the merchants who need attention
- Run the follow-up on flagged merchants together with Merchant Support, applying our escalation ladder consistently and documenting what was done
- Review newly onboarded merchants after their first weeks and flag anything that looks off
- Monitor the merchant base for pricing errors, product data quality issues, unfulfilled orders and suspected fraud
- Maintain and improve our merchant-facing and internal reporting, including the performance score merchants see in Merchant Center
- Run our recurring compliance and finance data checks (e.g. VAT validation, chemical tax, credit monitoring), supporting our Product Compliance Manager
- Use AI and automation to cut manual work out of the above, and share what you build with the team
Qualifications and requirements
We're looking for someone curious and careful with data, who wants to understand why a number moved and is happy to chase it down.
We'd especially like to see:
- 1–3 years of experience in an analytical role — e-commerce or marketplace operations, business analysis, reporting, or support work with a strong data element. Recent graduates with a quantitative degree and some practical experience are welcome to apply
- Confident with spreadsheets and comfortable working with larger data sets
- Experience with a BI or reporting tool (Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI or similar), or the ability to pick one up quickly. Basic SQL is a strong merit
- An AI-first mindset — you already use AI tools in your daily work and are keen to build them into your workflows
- Reliable and structured with recurring work — much of this role is doing the same thing well, every week
- Able to explain a finding plainly to people who don't work in data
- Comfortable with merchant-facing written communication, including messages about performance and terms
- A team player — our work almost always involves several stakeholders
- Excellent fluency in English and Swedish, both verbal and written
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience
Experience from a marketplace or e-commerce environment, or with BigQuery, BI-tools and automation tooling, is considered a merit.
What we offer
- A role with genuine ownership early in your career, close to how a marketplace actually works
- An opportunity to be part of a unique growth journey, actively contributing to the success of the leading e-commerce marketplaces in the Nordics
- A collaborative and dynamic work environment, with passionate colleagues who believe in CDON Group's mission
- Competitive compensation package, including benefits such as pension and insurance through Max Matthiessen and MyBenefit portal
- Six weeks of paid vacation, flexible working hours, wellness grant and employee discount on our marketplaces
- Room to grow — this role sits at the intersection of data, commercial and compliance, and opens doors in all three
