Are you ready to take the next step in your career while experiencing life in a new country?

We are currently seeking experienced and adventurous nurse anesthetists for an exciting assignment in Iceland.

This is a unique opportunity to combine professional growth with international experience. You will work in a modern healthcare environment alongside a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, where your role as a nurse anesthetist is essential in ensuring safe and effective anesthesia care throughout surgical procedures.

This position is ideal for those drawn to the travel nurse lifestyle, working in a new setting for a defined period.

Assignment period: Three to nine months, with a flexible start date by agreement.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and administer anesthesia for surgical procedures and examinations
  • Operate advanced anesthesia equipment and monitoring technology
  • Ensure safe anesthesia and maintain patients’ vital functions throughout procedures
  • Provide care and support to patients before, during, and after anesthesia
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons and the multidisciplinary team
  • Contribute to maintaining a high standard of patient safety and care

Qualifications

  • Postgraduate qualification as a nurse anesthetist (qualification must be recognized in Scandinavia)
  • Proven experience in anesthesia care
  • Good English skills, both spoken and written
  • Strong teamwork abilities and a patient-centered approach
