Are you ready to take the next step in your career while experiencing life in a new country?

We are currently looking for experienced and adventurous operating room nurses (OR nurses) for an exciting assignment in Iceland.

This is a unique opportunity to combine professional development with international experience. You will work in a modern healthcare environment alongside a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, where your role as an operating room nurse is essential throughout the entire surgical process.

This position is ideal for those drawn to the travel nurse lifestyle, working in a new setting for a defined period

Assignment period: Three to nine months, with flexible start date by agreement.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and carry out surgical procedures in collaboration with surgeons and the operating team
  • Ensure proper instrumentation and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures
  • Handle advanced medical-technical equipment
  • Prepare the operating room and necessary materials
  • Provide care and support to patients before, during, and after surgery
  • Work closely within a highly competent multidisciplinary team

Qualifications:

  • Specialist nurse in perioperative/operating room nursing (qualification must be recognized in Scandinavia)
  • Proven experience in surgical settings
  • Good English skills, both spoken and written
  • Strong teamwork abilities and a patient-centered approach
