We are recruiting registered nurses for permanent full-time positions in the Østfold region in southeastern Norway, on behalf of several municipalities.

Østfold is a welcoming region in southeastern Norway, known for its beautiful coastline, scenic landscapes and close proximity to Oslo and Sweden. The municipalities have a continuous need for qualified nurses in both home care services and nursing homes, where you will play an important role in providing safe and reliable care to patients of all ages.

Your responsibilities

  • Clinical nursing in home care, nursing homes or assisted living facilities
  • Observation, assessment, medication management and accurate documentation
  • Follow-up of patients with diverse medical conditions and functional levels
  • Collaboration with relatives, coordinating units and external partners
  • Interdisciplinary cooperation with doctors, therapists and other health professionals
  • Contributing to service development, improvement work and quality assurance

Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid nursing authorization from an EU country
  • Relevant experience as a nurse (hospital or community care is an advantage)
  • Be proficient with basic computer skills, necessary for modern healthcare environments
  • Speak and write English fluently
  • Motivated to learn Norwegian
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN)
  • Driving licence category B is an advantage for home visits
