Assignment Description

We are looking for an Automotive Mechanical Engineer / CAD Visualization Engineer

What You Will Work On

  • Prepare CAD data for visualization
  • Clean, simplify, and structure complex CAD geometry
  • Handle complex CAD assemblies and product structures
  • Perform material assignment and scene setup
  • Validate visualization data and perform QA checks
  • Create technical visualization images
  • Prepare structured visualization data packages for downstream teams
  • Collaborate with product design and engineering teams
  • Work closely with Industrial Design / Styling and communication stakeholders
  • Support continuous improvement of visualization workflows and data standards
  • Work with Deltagen, CATIA V5, and Adobe Photoshop
  • Translate technical CAD data into high-quality visual outputs

What You Bring

  • Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design Engineering, or similar
  • Experience working in 3D CAD environments, preferably CATIA V5
  • Experience handling complex CAD assemblies and product structures
  • Automotive or commercial vehicle development experience
  • Understanding of product development processes
  • Experience working cross-functionally across design, engineering, and production
  • Fluent English; Swedish is an advantage
  • Strong quality assurance and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Comfortable working in project-based environments with multiple stakeholders
