About this opportunity:

We are looking for a System Manager (SM) to work in the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) area within Cloud Native development on a container-based micro-service architecture. You will be part of a team with highly skilled SMs, where you jointly plan the work and share tasks and knowledge. Some of the challenges are maintaining focus on priorities, communicate, inspire and be active in studies needed to drive the area towards the product vision. O&M is critical from aspects of system upgrade, observability and troubleshooting in mobile networks.

What you will do:

As System Manager for O&M, you will be handling and defining the product requirements regarding system upgrade, configuration, alarm & counters, troubleshooting and more. You will be working in close cooperation with e.g. System Architects, Product Owners and development teams, managing requirements and influence future evolvement in the area. Among other tasks, this role involves:

  • Managing requirements and taking ownership for selected system artifacts
  • Performing system studies and managing compliance with standards
  • Supporting Q&A activities and providing pre-sales support within the competence area
  • Being a member of and contributor to the system management community
  • Supporting development teams with system insights and feature studies
  • Working closely with stakeholders and related partners across the organization, being involved in early technical discussions and providing recommendations to standardization work
  • Manage strategic technical leadership within the area

 

The skills you bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or higher education in a technical field related to Computer Science
  • Several years of working experience in SW development, system design, and knowledge of PC products
  • Innovation attitude paired with the ability to adapt and respond to change
  • Interest and pride in understanding the whole product and its environment, and passion for learning and sharing information with team members
  • Dedication to continue developing your knowledge working at the forefront with new technologies
  • Excellent communication skills, paired with fluency in spoken and written English
  • A positive “can-do” attitude
  • Keen eye for detail, while not being afraid to challenge the status quo
