For one of our key clients, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer, iOS to join a long-term assignment in Gothenburg.
Your Role – Mission Description
As a Senior iOS Engineer, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain the client’s iOS application
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, backend, QA) to define, design, and ship new features
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the app
- Debug complex technical issues and identify solutions to improve stability and user experience
- Stay up to date with new technologies, frameworks, and trends in iOS development
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable Swift code
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Contribute to the technical design and architecture of the application
- Participate in the full software development life cycle: planning, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement
Your Profile – Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in iOS development (typically 5+ years)
- Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with Swift
- Deep understanding of iOS application development: Architectures (MVC, MVVM, VIPER or similar)
- Design patterns and UI frameworks
- Tools and SDKs
- Asynchronous server communication (REST APIs, JSON, networking frameworks)
- Performance and UX optimization
- Proven experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex systems
- Track record of leading, planning, and executing the development of core features and modules for iOS applications
- Ability to work effectively in a large cross-functional team, clarifying requirements and aligning stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills: able to dive into complicated, unique problems, define a clear path forward, and drive work to successful completion
- Experience working in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban or similar)
- Fluent English skills, oral and written
