Assignment Description

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer

What You Will Work On

• Develop and maintain the company's Buildkite CI strategy and infrastructure
• Scale Buildkite agent environments supporting large engineering organizations
• Manage self-hosted CI agents across Linux, macOS, and Windows platforms
• Build and improve pipeline templates, plugins, and automation frameworks
• Develop infrastructure for provisioning, scaling, and lifecycle management of CI agents
• Optimize CI pipelines for large-scale monorepos and complex software environments
• Improve developer experience through automation and standardization
• Support migration to modern CI capabilities and workflows
• Collaborate with engineering teams to create a reliable and scalable CI platform
• Drive continuous improvements within development processes and tooling

What You Bring

• 4+ years of experience building and implementing large-scale software systems
• Strong software engineering background
• Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD)
• Strong knowledge of Linux environments and scripting
• Experience working with Java and Python
• Experience with Docker and container-based environments
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline development and automation
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, HTTP, and system integration
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple teams
