We are seeking an experienced PLC Automation Engineer to develop, implement, and maintain automation solutions for industrial manufacturing, process industry, energy, infrastructure, and production environments.

The successful candidate will play a key role in designing automation systems, programming PLCs, developing HMI solutions, and supporting commissioning activities to ensure reliable and efficient plant operations.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain PLC-based automation systems
  • Program and configure PLC controllers for industrial applications
  • Develop and maintain HMI and SCADA solutions
  • Perform system testing, FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities
  • Troubleshoot automation, control, and communication systems
  • Support system upgrades, modifications, and optimization projects
  • Collaborate with electrical, instrumentation, and production teams
  • Prepare technical documentation, functional specifications, and test protocols
  • Ensure compliance with project requirements, safety standards, and industry best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline
  • Experience with PLC programming in industrial environments
  • Strong experience with Siemens TIA Portal
  • Experience with HMI development and industrial communication protocols
  • Knowledge of automation architectures and industrial control systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken

Preferred Experience

  • Siemens S7 PLCs
  • Rockwell Automation / Allen-Bradley
  • Schneider Electric PLC platforms
  • SCADA systems
  • Manufacturing and process industries
  • Mining, metals, energy, or infrastructure projects
  • FAT, SAT, commissioning, and startup activities
  • Industrial networking and communication protocols such as Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP, OPC UA, Ethernet/IP, or Profibus
