You will help develop and verify advanced passive safety solutions for vehicles, with a focus on pedestrian protection and interior head injury performance. In this role, you work close to engineering teams and use simulation, analysis, and verification to understand how designs behave and where improvements are needed before and alongside physical testing.

The role combines CAE work, test-related analysis, and design support in a technically demanding automotive environment. It is a strong opportunity if you want to influence real safety performance through LS-DYNA, CAD, and engineering analysis.

• You perform CAE simulations and analyses related to pedestrian passive safety.
• You support simulation and physical verification activities throughout the development process.
• You carry out interior head injury and free-motion headform analysis according to FMVSS201U requirements.
• You develop, evaluate, and optimize safety performance using LS-DYNA simulations.
• You work with CAD models to prepare, review, and improve simulation setups.
• You analyze simulation and test data to support engineering decisions and design improvements.
• You collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to move development forward.

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of interior head injury assessment and free-motion headform analysis according to FMVSS201U.
• At least 2 years of experience with LS-DYNA.
• Good CAD knowledge and ability to work with vehicle geometry and models.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to complete a basic background check, including verification of identity, education, employment history, and citizenship.

• Experience in pedestrian passive safety analysis and verification.
