About the role:

In this role, you will be employed as a consultant at Mpya Sci & Tech. We work with customers across industries from Medtech and Automotive to Industrial Tech, scaleups and startups. Our customers are data-driven and rely on solid data infrastructure to power everything from machine learning pipelines and IoT analytics to real-time decision systems.

Your responsibilities may include:

- Designing, building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data infrastructure

- Working with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks or Azure Data Factory

- Data transformation and modelling using dbt

- Ensuring data quality, governance and documentation

- Collaborating closely with data scientists and ML teams to serve and prepare data

Skills and experience we're looking for:

To thrive in this role, you should bring a mix of the following skills:

- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role

- Strong skills in Python and SQL

- Experience with modern data platforms – Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery or similar

- Solid understanding of cloud environments, particularly Azure or AWS

- Team-oriented with a passion for innovation in a fast-paced environment

- Fluent English is required – Swedish is a strong plus

It's a bonus if you have experience with:

- Orchestration tools such as Airflow or Prefect

- Real-time data and streaming (Kafka, Azure Event Hub)

- dbt for data transformation

- ML pipelines or MLOps

- Industrial data, IoT or Medtech environments

- Spark or large-scale distributed data processing
