Assignment Description
We are looking for a Senior COBOL Developer for an assignment
What You Will Work On
- Develop and maintain applications in COBOL on IBM z/OS platforms
- Analyze, implement, and manage system changes and enhancements
- Troubleshoot and optimize code, batch processes, and system performance
- Work with CICS and JCL in daily development activities
- Collaborate with business teams and technical stakeholders
- Contribute to modernization initiatives for legacy systems
- Participate in agile development processes and knowledge sharing
- Ensure quality, stability, and reliability of mainframe solutions
What You Bring
- Extensive experience in COBOL development within mainframe environments (IBM z/OS)
- Strong hands-on experience with CICS and JCL
- Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
- Ability to quickly understand complex systems and business processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in agile teams
